Cretaceous Life

This story is about Rex, a Tyrannosaurus Rex that needs to survive in a world of mortal danger.

Part 1: The story begins

A female Tyrannosaurus is laying her eggs. She keeps the male away, because they can eat it's own offspring. But the eggs are not safed. Troodons watch the T-rex pair sleep at the night. Then, a pack of 4 Troodons come, and snatch 3 eggs. The male T-rex scary them away, and wake the female. The female checks her eggs, and see that only 1 egg rested. She roars with angry. 1 month later, Rex hatched. It have 3 centimeters high, and is very curious. In a day, a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus crossed his way. Rex is curious about his new "toy", and follows the little Pachy. Then, a herd of Edmontosaurus cross his way. He is almost stepped by a 12 meter long male. The female T-rex roars to call the little dinosaur back. He comes, and them, the male comes with a baby Edmontosaurus in his mouth. He throws it to Rex, and he stripes the carcass. Later, a rain comes to the area, and Rex is curious, because this is the first rain that he see in his life. The male calls him, and he comes to him. The female grabs Rex with the biggest love, and makes him sleep. 5 years later, the T-rex pair is hunting. Rex, as a juvenile, comes with them. With 4 meters long, it's time to him learn how to hunt. The pair strikes a Triceratops down with some difficult ( and a little help of Rex ). Rex is the first to feast in the carcass.

Part 2: Learning how to Survive

The juvenile Rex is feasting in the carcass like it's the last one of his life. His parents are full, and leaves the rest to Rex. Rex then, stripes the carcass. When he is full, his parents call him to a sleep. In the next 2 days, a massive migration of Edmontosaurus wakes the T-rexes up. The male wakes up, and see the huge migration herd. It's about a 100.000 Edmontosaurus migrating to the south, in search of food. The T-rexes watches the herd, but they are not hungry... for now. 2 days later, the T-rexes are hungry, and follows the migration herd of Edmontosaurus. They see an old, sick male getting far behind the herd. Now, he's a target. Rex jumps a rock and goes to the attack! He jumps and grabs the Edmontosaurus neck, with a 800 kg bite force. The Edmontosaurus tries to get free, but the T-rex pair grabs his legs, and throw him in the ground. Rex then, makes the last bite, and the Edmontosaurus is killed. Now, they can feast in the carcass. The T-rex pair gets surprised by Rex hunting skills. With 5 years old, and 4 meters long, he's a true hunter. But Rex will not have his parents forever... in 2 years, Rex will need to hunt alone, because his parents will considere him as a quick meal, as the parenty feels will be gone. Then, 1 year later, Rex has 5.50 meters long, 1 ton, and a 900 kg bite force. His parents don't give him the love they gived before. Now they are more agressive, and don't let him get too close to them. The parenty feels are starting to disappear. Rex easy striked down a adult male Ornithomimus in the morning, and eats it. Rex is now a true killer. Ornithomimus are pretty fast, and Rex grabbed and killed a full grown adult.

Part 3: The World of Dangers

Rex is eating peacefully the Ornithomimus. Then, a pack of Troodon comes and tries to stole Rex's dinner. Then, he roars, grabs a Troodon and throw it away. The pack got scared, and run away. His parents come to see what happened, and see it's all ok. One day, Rex is wandering in the forest searching for a prey. He spots a baby Triceratops, and stalk it. When he was ready to kill it, a big male Triceratops appeared. He challenge Rex to a battle, and Rex isn't afraid. He runs to the Triceratops, but the Triceratops charge it, and throw it 5 meters away. Rex crashes into a tree, and falls to the ground inconscient. His parents come to see what happened, and see his injured son in the ground, inconscient. The mother tries to make Rex wake up, and Rex walks up. He's very injured, and can't stand in his feet. Now, he needs to be feeded, and he will be ok soon. 1 year later, with 6.60 meters long, 2 tons, and a 1.5 ton bite force, he's already a adolescent. This is the time to he be a solitary hunter. His parents roar to him... he will be a meal! The mother comes, and tries to grab Rex, but he is very skilled, and escapes in the right time. His father gives him a headbutt, and Rex is throwed 2 meters. His parents have become monsters. He then, runs to not be killed by his own parents. Rex is now, alone in the world. He needs to hunt alone, or die and be a meal. He needs to keep his eyes open to the biggest danger in this place. Another Tyrannosaurus.
